The recreatification blog

Seeing that this is my first post, I feel compelled to make some sort of introduction.  So, I will save the creations that I was considering for a later date (most of them were made some time ago, anyway - there's no hurry).

I am a creative person.  There is an inherent satisfaction for me in making something.  My biggest thrill is the finished product.  Of course, I have to endure the steps required to create, but I usually stick it out because I so enjoy the end results.

Most who know me are aware that my first Bachelor's degree is in Biology; Pre-med, more precisely.  My second degree is Interior Design (ironically, the Biology was a Bachelor of Arts, and the Design was a Bachelor of Science, but that is for someone else to contemplate).  Perhaps, in following this blog, some might better understand why I walked away from the promise of a career in medicine and chose instead to dwell in the land of the right-brained.  If not, well, I hope there is entertainment in both my re-creations, and those that simply start from scratch.  (As far as my sewing goes, scratch may be more applicable than I want to admit).

I'm sure family tidbits will also sneak their way into the blog, especially since my daughters are my greatest acts of creating something beautiful.  I couldn't have done a better job if I had been allowed to choose what traits they acquired...Of course, I'd like to think that many of my projects have some divine intervention, since I tend to have a complete picture in my mind before I've even started.

All that being said, I look forward to my new journey as a blogger...
